About the project
This site is devoted to the project of creating of UNEX program.
What is UNEX?
UNEX is a scientific program for performing of investigations in a fields of molecular structure and dynamics. UNEX can be used also
for research of some other physical properties of molecules. UNEX is the integrated program, providing large amount of different features,
which are traditionally implemented in different programs and therefore partially (or completely) incompatible with each other.
UNEX is not based on any other programs and represents the independent research project. Nevertheless, many implemented in it
methods and algorithms are based on investigations of other researchers. UNEX also contains some original methods and algorithms.
The aims of UNEX development.
- Exploration of the possibilities of experimental methods for investigations of molecular structure.
- Development of the gas-phase electron diffraction method and automation of the all of its steps.
- Development of spectroscopic methods.
- Providing the ability to carry out very accurate and detailed research with help of extended possibilities and flexibility of the program interface.
- Development of the joint methods of structural/spectroscopic investigations.
Conditions of UNEX distribution and usage.
The program is free. Conditions of its distribution “AS IS”.
The authors do not guarantee the absense of errors or suitability for a particular purpose, you use this program on your own risk.
For the control of distribution, UNEX program is packed in a password-protected archive files.
If you have found a bug.
If you think that you have found a bug or error or some incorrectness in the UNEX, we would be glad if you send us an e-mail with details of the problem.
But first, you should make sure that it is really a bug and that it appears in the latest version of the program.
Do not forget to inform us about the program version number and to send input and ouptput files demonstrating incorrect results.
In any case, we cannot guarantee the fast correction of errors and modification or expanding of the UNEX functionality.
